Bodybuilding Certification Program

The United States Sports Academy is offering a new certification program in bodybuilding. The six-course program is designed to meet the needs of bodybuilding enthusiasts, coaches, personal trainers and fitness center personnel. The following courses provide students with a strong foundation of the skills and training essentials for successful bodybuilding and personal fitness. The cost of each course is $150.

 

CER 525 Sports Strength and Conditioning

The focus of this course is on the acquisition of strength and the improvement of cardiovascular endurance as a means of enhancing sport performance.
(4 CEUs)

CED 558 Ergogenic Aids and Sport Performance

A study of research and reserach findings on the physiological and psychological effects of ergogenic aids on human performance in sport.
(4 CEUs)

CED 556 Sports and Fitness Nutrition

This course examines the importance of nutrition on the enhancement of performance and the prevention of diseases such as cardiovascular disease, cancer and obesity. (4 CEUs)

CED 320 Applied Sports Performance

This course is designed to cover the complete spectrum of training intensity from low to high. A conditioning program is established to meet the needs of the various sports. (4 CEUs)

CES 514 Men's Bodybuilding

A study of modern coaching trends in men's bodybuilding, this course examines training methods used for building muscle, strength, endurance and speed. Nutritional information regarding workout and training practices is also included. (4 CEUs)

CES 515 Women's Bodybuilding

Modern trends in women's bodybuilding include the development of the sport of bodybuilding and weight training techniques. Exercises, routines, contest preparation, equipment, nutrition, body-shaping procedures, posing and publicity are all examined from the novice to the advanced levels. (4 CEUs)
