The United States Sports Academy is pleased to announce a strategic alliance with Women's Sports Services, LLC (WSS) to provide educational opportunities and professional development for women and minority sports career candidates and professional athletes.
"WSS is delighted to be teaming with the United States Sports Academy. This relationship reaffirms our commitment to continue to provide quality educational opportunities for our sports career professionals," said Becky Heidesch, CEO of WSS.
This is the first time WSS has affiliated with a university that offers scholastic programs in exercise science and sports management with both traditional and distance learning options. Through the alliance, sports career professionals can meet their continuing education needs and are also able to enhance their academic credentials and professional qualifications by taking classes at the Academy. Courses and certifications offered will range from sports marketing and sports management to fitness certification and athletic administration.
"We hope this relationship opens the doors for Women's Sports Services' clients to continue their educational goals by providing them with an affordable and flexible academic resource for their growth in the sports profession," said Betsy Smith, Academy Director of Continuing Education.
