<description>The United States Sports Academy, an independent, regionally accredited, sport-specific institution of higher learning is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as the Dean of Academic Affairs. The Dean is the Chief Academic Officer of the institution and a member of the Presidents Cabinet.  The person in this position is responsible for planning, curricular development and general administration of the Division of Academic Affairs. As approximately 95 of the Academys students are distance learners utilizing a computer mediated, asynchronous and transformational program delivery model in a rolling-registration environment, experience in administering academic programs in a non-traditional setting is a must. This position will remain open until a suitable individual is selected.</description>

<description>The United States Sports Academy is offering a limited number of Doctoral Teaching Assistantships to those who are interested in pursuing a Doctor of Education in Sports Management Ed.D degree as a full-time resident student. The purpose of the doctoral teaching assistantship is to augment and support the student's doctoral academic program.  The Doctoral Graduate Assistant assigned to Academic Affairs will play an integral role in the course writing and development of both distance learning and continuing education courses for web-based instruction.  The Doctoral Graduate Assistant has the overall responsibility for development, coordination and implementation of new courses for the online delivery system.  The graduate assistant will also assist faculty with the development of workshops, seminars, short courses, symposia and institutes offered credit, non-credit or continuing education.</description>
