Military Programs

The United States Sports Academy, America’s only regionally accredited Sports University, prides itself on its military-friendly policies and procedures that allow service members the opportunity to serve our country while preparing for their future with continuing education online certification programs special to the military.  Students can earn a certification in personal training, strength and conditioning, sports coaching, sports management and other related areas.

The Academy accepts Military Tuition Assistance, the Montgomery GI Bill (Chapter 30), and Military OneSource for spouses of military personnel. This program enables spouses to obtain an online certification should a “portable career” be required. They can receive up to $6,000 of financial assistance to complete their chosen certification.

To meet the needs of the military, online certification programs are offered for semester credit hours.  Program highlights include:

  • Deployments accommodated
  • All courses are online and self-paced
  • Enroll at anytime
  • Access courses 24/7 from anywhere
  • No residency required

Students may take one, two or all six courses at a time to complete a certification, depending upon how much time they can devote to their studies.

A textbook is required for each course. Sixteen weeks is allotted to complete each course, but students may finish sooner. Students may receive extensions should they become deployed.
