- How do I write the Qualifying Essay?
- You may consult the Writer’s Guide for the Qualifying Essay, which is located in the Addendum of the current Doctoral Catalog. The Addendum also contains a Rubric table, which is used in grading the Essay. Qualifying Essays are generally 5-7 pages in length. - Where are most of your doctoral graduates working?
- Most doctoral alumni are working as either professors or athletic directors at colleges and universities.
- How many courses should I take at one time?
- Most students take no more than two courses at a time. Others take one course at a time and if they finish before the 16 weeks is up, they immediately enroll in another course.
