When will you complete my transcript evaluation?
We will complete your transcript evaluation once we receive your application, application fee, personal statement, and official copies of all transcripts.
What will the transcript evaluation tell me?
This evaluation will show how many of the first 60 required credits you have completed and will be able to transfer. The evaluation will specifically note any general education deficiencies you may have. Once the evaluation is complete, the evaluator will contact you to discuss the results.
How many hours must I have already completed to start the program?
You must have a minimum of 36 transferable hours to start the program, but will be required to satisfy any deficiencies before you will be able to finish our program.
What if I am deficient in any of the required transfer credits?
Once your transcript evaluation is complete, the evaluator will discuss your options if you are deficient in any of the required transfer areas.
What if I have more than 60 credits or my credits are sport specific?
Any applicant to one of the Academy’s bachelor’s degree programs is eligible to transfer from another college or university equivalent 300 and 400 level courses that are substantially the same as the Academy’s curriculum. This is in addition to the required 60 transfer hours. To review the process on additional transfer credit, please see the section of the current undergraduate catalog regarding Specific Transfer Policies in the Bachelor’s Program and Transfer-Request Procedures (upper division courses).
What should I include in my personal statement?
A written personal statement describes the motivation or reasons for desiring an undergraduate degree. We suggest you include a short biography, your reasons for choosing the program, and what you would ultimately like to do with the degree once you’ve completed your degree.
Can the entire program be done online?
Yes, all course work can be done online. Undergraduate students are required to complete a mentorship that will be completed in the area of sport of their choosing and will not be done onsite at the Academy.
